Join us, as we celebrate International Day of Non-Violence in Minnesota on Saturday, October 4th, from 1:00PM to 4:00PM at the Minnesota History Center in St. Paul. Hosted by IAM in partnership with Dr. Dash Foundation, MN Historical Society and Twin Cities Non-Violent, this event marks the culmination of 12 Days Free From Violence organized by Twin Cities Non-Violent and honors the enduring legacy of Gandhi through education and public awareness of his enduring philosophy of non-violence.
The program includes a tribute to Gandhi through video screenings, musical performance by Ankita's Art and Music Academy, youth voices, Gandhi Vision Award for Community Service, yoga workshop for mental clarity and calm conducted by certified yoga instructor Himali Patel and much more! Refreshments available for registered attendees.
Featured speaker, Kevin Lindsey, CEO of MN Humanities Center will address the gathering and attendees will have a chance to visit exhibitors all of whom in their own way are working toward a more humane society. Come join us for this FREE event!
